think that if Coach Beckman was still here we would have become better! We
didn't go tonight, but Derek pinned his first opponent in the CT Tourney. He
called us and told us he had little chance in his next match. Hey Ron, give me a

Fans, Families and Friends,
Today I received a forwarded voice-mail from the athletics office. A person who
did not identify themselves did not like the fact that after individual matches
at Brookville that our wrestlers do not go shake the opposing coaches hand. I
would like to address this. First of all the person was not critical or rude in
fact she was very polite.
However a few years ago it was actually illegal to shake the opposing coaches’
hand because the PIAA considered it unsportsmanlike and more particularly delay
of the match. Since then the rule has changed and it is not illegal but PIAA
encourages waiting until after all the matches are completely over before
shaking hands.
I just wanted to make it clear why our wrestlers are instructed to return
directly to our bench after they wrestle.

Cory Beaver got his “Reynolds Wrestling” T-shirt today. He is very happy you
sent him one, and said to tell you guys, “Thanks a lot!” He said he will wear
the shirt with pride. You guys & the entire Reynolds Wrestling program are CLASS
ACTS! That was very nice of you to send my kid a shirt, and I want to say Thank
You! We wish Reynolds Wrestling the very best in 2008 and beyond. If Littlestown
Wrestling can’t win the State title, I’ll be rooting for you guys to do so.
