this book in a while....reading back on some of the stuff in here just wants me to relive
last years season...now im here @ pitt, but that doesnt mean im any less of a fan.
Guys, especially the few seniors, this is your year...i know you guys have some big shoes
to fill, but you guys are reynolds wrestlers...thats all that matters. im gonna try
to be there for as many matches as possible, and i think most of the tournaments! My
life wouldnt be the same without the rumbling of wrestling and im sure gonna miss watchin
jerry wrestle, but...
so as for jake, travis, justin h., tyler, mike h., owen, nick s., u guys step it up this
year, cuz im gonna be there to watch another exciting season.

That was a great match between two great
wrestlers. You gave up the reversal being aggressive in going for the back points. Against
a quality wrestler like Harnett you've got to seize the opportunity when you get one. Last
night it didn't work out, next time it will. What you did was show the younger guys what
it takes to get to your level. Keep your chin up, stay aggressive, you know where you want
to be in March, you'll be there.

I have been around reynolds wrestling for as
long as i can remember and i've been on and witnessed some of the best teams that have
ever come out of reynolds- i must say that this years team has all the potential to be one
of the best teams if they continue to get better and work hard to achieve their goals.
Don't let one or two losses decide the outcome of your season. I believe that wrestling
does not consist entirely on who is more technical or who is faster or stronger- I feel
that your will, desire, and amount of heart that one can show, as well as hard work and
dedication are the keys to how high on the medal stand you make it down in HERSHEY! Pick
up the pace in the practice room so that there is no question when the post season comes
around that we can go six minutes as hard as anyone!!!! GOOD LUCK- I will be sure to help
you get prepared!

I just wanted to say congratulations to all
of the Reynolds Raiders that advanced to the Regional semi-finals. What a great job
everyone did! As for you Jake, Nick and Jesse it's not over by a long shot. Pick yourself

how tough you are. =) Having a broken hand and sitting out for a couple weeks and then
coming back strong as ever, if not stronger and making it to states. Now that's something!
I can't think of too many other guys (with the exception of the Raider Team) who'd come
back and wrestle with a partially broken hand. You have so much talent and there's no

Im sorry I let all of you down this year at states. I wished I could have brought back
another state title to add to the school. Im just glad I got to be apart of somthing so
great.Thank you to all the RAIDER fans. You are all true wrestling fans and know what the
sport is really about. I enjoyed all the yelling and screaming throughout my carrear a
little more than i should have at times.(hahaha)I want to thank my parents my brother and
my family for all that they have done I couldnt have done what I did with out them. They
have pushed me when i didnt feel like going on anymore and always pushed me to work
harder. They have always stayed behind me so thanks. Im really going to miss my fellow
team mates as well as coaches. Owen take care buddy you will probably take over my spot as
the bad guy taking all the bullcrap but you will handle it well. You are now a raider
through and through and you have proved that this year. I hope I get a chance to watch you
wrestle next year your my favorite wrestler to watch. Travis you have to get over that J.O
syndrome and believe in yourself you are a really talanted kid with alot of potential USE
IT! not just in the practice room but in tha matches. Hills your the best heavy weight in
the world if you ask me. The coolset to have on the team anyways. You will do well in your
future keep your head up and just believe in yourself and what you can do you move like a
3 pounder and your strong as an ox wrestling runs through your blood and i know that might
put pressure on you but dude it does and you have everything it takes to accomplish all
your goals. Summy your my buddy Im glad you started talking a little bit. Who am I going
to have to pick on now? You are a great kid and an awesome wrestler its just you were a
sophmore in one of the toughest weight classes in the state tournament and you got what it
takes to go again you are going to turn a lot of heads in your next 2 years.Jake NO your

1972 grad Chuck Coryea on his induction into the Clarion University Sports Hall Of Fame.
Most of us little guys in the practice room in those years just tried to make sure Chuck
