Good Job Artie,
Roger

Hi Dad and Art :) I think this page is great.~! The only thing that I think should be added would be a picture and maybe some info on the cheerleaders too!!!! They work hard to support the guys and cheer them on all year long. Well thats just my opinion, but i think its a good one!!!! hehe :) Keep it up the page is great!! Talk to ya later (: Renae :)

Nice work Art, I see everything is coming along just fine. I'll keep checking in.

This is John Tofani visiting from the P.S.U. main campus at some party in some guys house-- we're lost -- so I thought I would drop a line and say how nice the page looks so far. My buddy had the answer to the trivia but I did not tell him ..... honest I didn't!! Hills, if you see this I want you to know what a great party you missed.

As a seventh grader at RHS, I was glad when Tuesday's & Friday's rolled around as these were the days I was able to watch Art, Dave, Kenny, Jack & Wayne showcase their talents on the basketball court. The memories of Art pulling down every rebound, Dave playing great physical defense and Wayne & Kenny scoring from everywhere are still very vivid.

Thanks Art for having a hand in the development of this web page. You can be assured that your time and effort will be rewarded as you have provided the same incentives for the next generation of RHS athletes as you did for me in 68/69. Thanks for all the great past and future memories.

good job on the website

Hey Uncle Bob, thought the website was really cool! Loved your column.
From Pamela,Bethany,Ralph, and Debi.

Good luck this year Justin!!!!! Try for a second win! Love ya babe!

I am a former wrestler for Seneca High School, and what Reynolds High School has accomplished is very impressive, just on one note....in 1995 when Casey Taylor was a junior he wrestled Brian Komosarski in both the regional and district finals, and its a shame that Brian lost in the semis at states because I think Casey might have had one less state championship under his belt, or at least it would have been his best finals match of his three appearences. Also ...true Justin Nestor is a talented wrestler and showed a lot of determination at states last year but I don't see him winning another title this year.

My son Chris starts practice on Wednesday, I thought I should check in and see what is new. I like the sight, maybe there should be a place that answers questions for parents. We will keep checking in.
Kathryn Marks

The comments from the Seneca fan are interesting. I think he/she must
consider how the Raiders have reacted when they get to Hershey. They
appear to step it up a notch as Districts and Regionals are just a step
along the way. Therefore I feel our intensity at Hershey makes us even
better when it's ON THE LINE. What has Seneca done to compare to that?
Justin Nestor Has a very good attitude and doesn't think anything
different than last year and has goals set. Our strength of schedule
MANHEIM, TOOL CITY, ULTIMATE DUALS, PHILIPSBURG ETC. wiil definitely
prepare him for the post season. (As well as the rest of the Raiders!)
Having a Knowledge of wrestling and making comments as such you should
be so bold to sign your comments!   Coach Hills

Dear Mr.Former Seneca Wrestler:
Sounds like you have a case of the shoulda, coulda, wouldas to me !!!!! If you feel you would like to challenge Justin Nestor's fortitude practice starts at 5:30 in our gym.
SIGNED! Coach Tofani

Good Luck to the Reynolds Wrestling team

Brian, John, Ed, Bob and everyone else associated with Reynolds Rasslin. The site is great and all I've looked at is the guest book.It was neat to see where so many people from Reynolds have dispersed to in the time gone from the area, and still be able to check in on the boys progress. Just wanted to let you know that Wrestling is alive and well in MARS, PA. and we are looking forward to setting our own standard. How do you do that? You look to the best (Reynolds). I'm always very proud to call myself a Reynolds Wrestler. Good Luck and Update Often!!!
Glenn Clark Co-Captain 1980-81 15 wins nooooooo losses.

Great site! I have spent the last 30 minutes checking all the past stats and it is always fun to see the great history of wrestling at Reynolds. As a coach, I can appreciate it even more. Brian, enough can't be said about the job that you and your coaches have done. It's also nice to see that John T. continues to try and pick up college girls (never had much success before, either!!) For the record, tell Glenn Clark to stop counting all of his junior high wins when he tells people his record. (just kidding Clarkie) Keep up the good work, and good luck ......Pat Fordyce 85' Head coach- North East High School, PA

Well, I have grown up around RHS wrestling because of my family, my uncles were coaches (the Stoyers), and it's nice to know that even though I'm at college, I can still find out what's going on. I miss going to the matches, since IUP doesn't have a team, I gotta come home to see you guys. Good luck with the up coming season.

Bob, We need a new column. Guess who? Hurry up.

12-29-98 We have been following the Manheim Tournament today thru your updates. It's great to be able to go to this site and get the most current information. The pictures are a nice addition. This is a #1 web site for a #1 Team. GO RAIDERS! A couple of loyal fans - rw & nl

At the Meadville J.V. tournament I was congratulating a couple wrestlers on their performance. One wrestler who lost a close match in the consolation finals made the comment "Yeah, but I guess I gotta work a little harder".I was impressed! These are the values the coaches are instilling in our children. This is not only a good wrestling philosophy, but a value you must carry with you for the rest of your life. It's refreshing to know,in these trying times raising children,we have people at school helping us out.Hats off to all the wrestling coaches. Thank You! David Emmett

Congrats Steve and the whole team on a job well done. We will be following online. Aunt Sher and Uncle Ed.

Thanks Bob for the new column. And good luck to all the Raiders in the Grove City match. CH

WHAT A GREAT SITE! It is exciting to keep current with the finest wrestling program in Pennsylvania. I wish the Raiders much success this year.

Coach Hills, you and your staff are truly outstanding. Remember your 1st year as varsity coach? That was great, I remember finishing up football and then having to really get into SHAPE.

CONGRATULATIONS to Raider Alumni Pat Fordyce in his first year head coach position at North East. Pat, you might not want to wrestle Reynolds just yet.

Let's have a BIG reunion for all former and current Reynolds wrestlers, coaches, and fans.

Hello,

My name is Joe Ludwig and I am the president of the Ligonier Valley Wrestling Associatiion. Recently our organization suffered a setback!
We lost our junior olympic coach, the illustrios Ron Beckman! We tried to get him to bleed red and black but alas, his blood continued to course with the blue and gray. Coach Beckman did an excellent job with our kids and hopefully we will be able to continue what he started in making our program the Reynolds of Southwestern Pa. Hopefully we will be able to make it to your tournament to see Lawrence "Gumby" Beckman and Mase "The Man" wrestle!
"El Duce'"

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to wish all the wrestlers the best of luck. I keep up
with all you guys on the Web. The wrestling out here in Las Vegas

Typical Monday morning, surfing wrestling web pages instead of getting any work done. Great to see a page that covers all of a program instead of only varsity. Just one more reason for the "Burrhead" to be wearing blue and grey next season. We are starting to get serious about the house hunting (prefer acreage, old farm) so if anyone has any hot tips please let us know, or tell Ron Beckman.

Way to go RAIDERS!!! Once again as the tournament trail gets rougher so do the Raiders. What a great showing at the District 10 Championships. I think you showed the rest of the district that you are still the power of the district, (Where were the Bison's champs?). To Jon Hollobaugh- you looked great in your dominating win over Fiske. You can do it Jon. Jerry Kendall another great job. Thanks to all the Raiders for giving the fans of Reynolds your 100%. Good luck to all 8 of you as you go for the gold. We, the fans will always be in your corner. RF/RHS

In 1969 there was a Heavyweight nick-named BEAR who won big matches . . . .
Now 30 years later in 1999 we have a Heavyweight nick-named BEAN who is winning big matches . . . . .

Congratulations, Reynold Wrestlers, especially Stevie and Jason, you guys did great. If there is one thing I miss about highschool, it is wrestling, Gannon wrestling doesn't compare to the highschool wrestling action. Keep up the good work, even if Hershey doesn't bring gold, I think you guys are great!!! Love ya guys! Kristen. P.S. One other thing that us old cheerleaders miss is starting trouble at tournaments, i bet Coach Hills was glad to see the rowdy senior cheerleaders go, but we know you miss us!! HaHa!

Dear Steve,
You did a great job this year!!!

Jen

Reynolds Wrestlers,
you all did a great job this year! Your the greatest!

Jason,
Congratulations on your entire wrestling career at RHS and on finally deciding which college to attend(UPJ). I think you made a very well thought out and responsible decision. What matters most is to find a institution where your going to feel comfortable which in return will make you perform to the best of your ability (wrestling and academically). I think UPJ can offer you this. When it comes down to it, a National Championship Title is the same no matter how you look at it. You still have to work your butt off for it! I also want to send out my best wishes to all the seniors and hope them well in all there endeavors.

Jonathan J Hazi ( jjhst27@hotmail.com )

Good job Raiders this is the 112 pounder (dippy) Coach Hills i am so darn hungary the heck with those scrubby salads from mcdonalds i want a whopper I think we had a great year it was a memorable one for sure especially on the road trips we were always having a blast (except losing weight)but we will continue the sucess in the up comming years i never got to thank coach Tofani and coach Hills for all they did for me so thanks alot I'll never forget going to  school at 4:00 in the morning and running and all that stuff I thought it was dumb at the time but it was all worth it I can't wait till next year

p.s Now I can come sit in your hot tub and eat all the snow I want!!!!!
e-mail me if ya get a chance crazydude112@hotmail.com

Later,Ju$tin....112

It's me again the former 112 pounder I now weigh 140 I just wanted to congradulate my friend Travis Battles for winning the PJW State championships That is a heck of an acclompishment Trav can't wait till we are on same team again man later, *Ju$tiN*....112

Hey Raider fans It was another interesting year we had a lot of up and downs and if you followed us throughout the year you would know what I am talking about I think we had the best captians ever Steve Popovitch and Jason Nestor they were always pushing us harder and harder Even though Jason came up short at the end but it's different when you are a fan sitting in the stands and a wrestler being there every night watching the Nestors and Popovitch in the practice room When you are a fan you dont realize all the hard work and effort it takes So congradulations to Jason and Steve good luck in the future

l8er,DIPPY

Finally found this web site. I can now keep up with the happens at Reynolds
High School from Portsmouth, Virginia (Hampton Roads) the home of the

Can't hardly wait for the wrestling season to begin again. If Steve Alfredo is ever looking through the guest book while he is suppose to be working, it would be really nice to get an e-mail address for him as the Kendalls were wondering how he and his family are doing. The seniors from the 98-99 season are going to be sadly missed this year. However, we wish you all the best of luck.

sk

Bean, just wanted to let you know you still are and always will be my hero. Best of luck at school and in all you do. I sure will miss you this year and your wonderful wrestling style. You never gave up, no matter what the odds. YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!

Coach Tofani,
If it is true that you are leaving The Reynolds Wrestling Program, won't be the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED

Congratulations to Coach T. on be hired by the Reynolds School Dist.
For those of you that didn't know this means he'll be here for quite
some time. He is truely dedicated to our school and really desired to
stay with us. The current administration and school board are to be
commended for recognizing the importance of placing Coach T. in the
system both for academics and coaching. Congratulations also go out
to Bill Foore (former Jr. High Coach) on being hired in the Dist. as
well. I will be counting on him to assist as well. Coach Hills
